Is Dr.Khan.ai a replacement for a doctor?
No. Dr.Khan.ai provides educational health information only — it is not a medical diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a licensed physician before making any medical decision, and call your local emergency number in an emergency.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no account. Consultations are anonymous, and nothing you share is stored after your session ends.
What happens to my messages and photos?
They are processed in real time to generate your answer — including by our third-party AI providers, Groq and OpenAI — and are not stored by us. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.
Why did I hit a daily limit?
Dr.Khan.ai is free and anonymous, so usage is capped globally each day to keep the service available for everyone. If you hit a limit, please try again later.
Something in the iOS app looks wrong — what should I include in a report?
Your iPhone model, iOS version, which tab you were on (Consult, Photo, or Lab), and what you expected to happen. Screenshots help. Since we don’t collect data, we can’t look up your session — the description is everything.
